Plain-language summary: the site is free for you. We earn from affiliate commissions and fiduciary referral fees, never by charging users and never by ranking a product higher for paying more. Our content is AI-assisted and checked against official Swiss sources. Affiliate cards are always labelled.
1. How we are funded
Canton Compliance Hub is free for everyone. We cover our costs in two ways, neither of which involves charging users:
- Affiliate commissions. When you buy a software product through a link on our site, the provider may pay us a commission. This is at no extra cost to you, and the price you pay is the same as, or lower than, the provider’s standard price.
- Fiduciary referral fees. When we connect you, with your explicit consent, to a qualified Swiss fiduciary who then provides you a service, the fiduciary pays us a referral fee. You are always told about this before any contact is made.
2. How our content is made
We are open about how the site is built so you can judge it fairly:
- Articles and audit reports are drafted with the help of AI language models.
- Every factual claim is grounded in official Swiss federal and cantonal government sources that we crawl and keep up to date. The source behind a claim is shown in the citation chips and the “official sources” box on each article.
- We re-check published articles against their sources on a rolling schedule and show how recently each page was verified.
Even so, this is general information, not advice, and laws change. Always confirm anything important against the official source or with a professional. See our Terms of Use & Liability Disclaimer.
3. Editorial independence
Affiliate relationships do not influence what we write. Content is based on official sources, not on commercial deals. We apply the same test to every tool we mention:
- Is it genuinely relevant to Swiss SME compliance needs?
- Does it have a credible track record for Swiss businesses?
- Is the pricing fair and transparent for the Swiss market?
If a tool fails these tests we do not recommend it, whether or not an affiliate programme exists. We never rank a product higher because its commission is higher.
4. Current partner programmes
We currently participate in, or are applying to, the following affiliate programmes:
| Partner | What they offer |
|---|---|
| Bexio | Swiss SME accounting, invoicing, and payroll software |
| HubSpot | CRM, sales, and marketing tools |
| Zoho | Business productivity suite (CRM, email, books, HR) |
| Make.com | No-code workflow automation |
| Personio | HR software for SMEs |
This list is updated as partnerships change.
5. Impact on your costs
Using an affiliate link from this site will never make you pay more than the standard price. In practice:
- Some links carry a discount or extended trial not available on the provider’s own site.
- Where there is no discount, the price is identical to going direct.
- The commission is paid by the provider, not added to your price.
6. How we label affiliate content
Affiliate content is identified by a clear, plain-language “Affiliate partner” label shown directly on the relevant tool card, before you click the link, so the commercial nature of the link is obvious at the point you see it. The disclosure is never hidden in the footer, behind a “read more”, or buried in our general terms. We place these cards only after the section that explains why the tool is relevant, never at the very top of an article, and never more than two per article.
7. Fiduciary referrals
Fiduciary partners are independent firms. We are not a party to any engagement you enter into with them, and we do not supervise their work. A referral is made only after you ask for one and consent to your details being shared. You can decline, or withdraw consent, at any time. How we handle the data involved is set out in our Privacy Policy & Cookies.
